Privacy
Nevquo Pixel processes your images on your own device, inside your browser. Your images are not uploaded to Nevquo or to any third party, and we do not see them.
- What stays on your device: your images, the optimized results, and your settings (saved in your browser's local storage so they are there next time).
- What we collect: nothing in the app itself. No account, no cookies, no analytics. Your web host may keep ordinary server logs (IP address, time, page requested) as any website does.
- Offline use: the app stores its own files in your browser so it can work without a connection. You can remove them by clearing site data.
- Sync link: if you copy a sync link, your settings (not your images) are inside the link. Share it only with yourself.
Terms of use
Nevquo Pixel is provided free of charge, "as is", without warranty of any kind. Optimization is lossy by design unless you choose Lossless; always keep your original files. To the extent allowed by law, Nevquo is not liable for any loss or damage from using the app.
You are responsible for having the right to use and modify the images you process. Do not use the app for unlawful purposes.
"Nevquo" and "Nevquo Pixel" are names of Nevquo. The app's own code and design are copyright Nevquo, all rights reserved. Open-source components keep their own licenses (below).
Open-source licenses
Nevquo Pixel is built with open-source software, including jSquash codecs (Apache-2.0), MozJPEG, libwebp, libavif, libjxl and oxipng, image-q, UTIF2, fflate and noble-ed25519/hashes (MIT), the Manrope font (SIL OFL 1.1), and libheif-js (LGPL-3.0, loaded only when you open a HEIC file).
Read the full notices and license texts.
Image formats: AVIF uses the royalty-free AV1 codec. HEIC/HEIF files use HEVC video technology, which may be covered by patents in some regions; HEIC decoding is provided for convenience, as is, and only on your own device.
